In the digital age, the synergy between business sustainability and advanced management practices is becoming essential for long-term success. Over the past few decades, sustainability has evolved from a philanthropic activity to a strategic imperative, while digitalization has transformed the way data is collected, processed, and used. These changes have enabled the development of a data-driven management model, in which management accounting serves as a key link between financial goals and non-financial sustainability indicators.
The purpose of the project is to explore the synergistic effects of digital technologies on the integration of sustainability information into management processes and on the financial and non-financial performance of business entities.
The project explores how digital tools and business intelligence systems enable the integration of sustainability information (ESG) into key management functions, including strategic planning and budgeting, controlling and risk assessment, and management reporting. The aim is to determine how digitally supported integration of sustainability information contributes to management efficiency and sustainable use of resources in modern business.
